This year, Leeds saw the opening of the new Super
Casino of the North – Victoria Gate Casino. Boasting
51,000 square feet over four floors, visitors can expect

terminals. Alongside this, a VIP area, valet service,
three bars surrounded by HD screens and its own
restaurant serving Yorkshire sourced produce.
For a fast-paced venue like this, Tevalis understood
how important it was for both the team and
visitors to have a system in place that would work
efficiently during service whilst also offering tools for
management capable of monitoring and managing
all business activities. This includes everything from
Sales, CashUp and Service reports to having the ability
to manage end to end stock control including delivery
tracking, recipe and menu engineering, supplier
management, stock movements and par level and auto
order facilities.
To ensure the customers journey and experience was
maximized to its full potential, Victoria Gate Casino
decided on 10 of our 8” handhelds to service food and
beverage orders across all floors and all gaming areas.
The Tevalis handheld solution provides a state of the
art hand held terminal with all the functionalities you
would receive from a standard POS terminal, thus
giving huge flexibility to the business.
Operating seamlessly in conjunction with the POS,
the handhelds allow staff to easily and quickly locate
product keys, input orders at the customers table
and transmit the order directly to the kitchen order
printers, without having to visit a bar or the kitchen.
This allows the ordering processing time to be much
quicker, ensuring the customer is served in a fast and
efficient manner.
As Victoria Gate Casino offer a loyalty card system
for different levels of players, it was also important
for them to have an integration that would allow

them to manage this. With our EPOS integration to
Playtechs Intelligent Gaming software, we were able
to meet this requirement. The integration means that
the connection to the casinos player tracking system is
enabled, allowing authorized staff to redeem, monitor
and control comps, redeem loyalty and provide secure
access to real time details on guest expenditure. This
provides management with the key information to
ensure they are maximizing on customer service and
retention levels, optimizing guest spend at all times.
