The Beefbar
Humbert & Poyet Unveils
The Beef bar In Hong Kong
Following in the footsteps of Monaco and Mexico,
Beefbar is continuing to conquer the world and this
time it’s set its sights on the very heart of the Chinese
metropolis that is Hong Kong. The signature concept
from the Monaco Restaurant Group serves top quality
meat that has brought the restaurant world renown
and put it among the best meat restaurants in the
world in specialist press.
The Humbert & Poyet architecture firm has unveiled
an interior inspired by gentlemen’s and wine tasting
clubs with premium features in the new site. The
materials are opulent, raw and luxurious: black wood
panels, leather fittings, burnished bronze and a marble
bar. The lighting is designed and custom-made by
the architecture firm to create an intimate and cosy
atmosphere. The openwork ceiling made up of dyed
wood panels alternates with gaps to create depth and a
bold design feature.
The new restaurant’s unique feature is a scarlet wall
that marks out a private and social space. Nuances
of warm colours combined with refined raw features
craft a masculine, chic and modern setting. A world
away from hectic Hong Kong, the cosy bar and terrace
heighten the sense of timeless luxury and the peaceful
atmosphere designed by the architects Emil Humbert
& Christophe Poyet. Each design feature created by

Humbert & Poyet was founded a year after they

together,” says Emil Humbert.
Their projects focus on elegant and meticulous designs
to create timeless spaces using premium materials
such as stone, wood and bronze. Naturally, the most
important thing is to reflect the client’s personality and
respect the soul of the site.

or their ability to showcase a space and set the scene

constantly throughout a project. Our symbiosis forms
the foundations of our projects and ensures the space
that we’ve imagined works,” says Christophe Poyet.
