West of England, Wests Design Consultants are
a team of skilled, highly qualified, experienced
designers and thinkers working from a restored farm
studio environment under an initiative established by
Prince Charles and the Duchy of Cornwall. They use
integrated skills that allow them to operate effectively
as a creative team, delivering branding, graphic and
web solutions that support their clients and their
businesses. Designing, maintaining and hosting a
wide range of diverse websites, the team consider
themselves to be well rounded digital designers,
offering compelling brand and print design.
Their founder, Barrie West has over 40 years graphic
design experience, beginning as an apprentice
letterpresses printer, he went on to work with
LeoOne, the worlds first electronic business
computer, alongside the Xeronic printing system as
head of form design. Then progressing with a huge
portfolio of clientele over the years has given him
a wealth of knowledge to guide the current young
team. Combined with the design teams modern
approach to sourcing new technology along side
their design beliefs, they create designs with form and
function in mind, operating on both contemporary
and more traditional platforms. Staying actively
passionate about design they say, “We enjoy being
challenged, and warmly welcome avant-garde style
projects, along side the more standardized functional
work.”Communicating and listening to their clients
needs enables them to create bespoke projects that
