About fasting and almsgiving

However , you are the people of the word of My coming at the end of the time and you have eaten clean food all the time so that when the time of fasting comes you only have to abstain from oil and wine and to seek according to every one ’ s power in you to bring before the Lord the sacrifice of your heart and body with all the joy of the soul in you , and your heart has to be restrained from everything that is not pleasing to heaven , and you also must take care of the food so that you may be able to do your duty with respect to the things that must be kept in control all the days and that your body may be able to resist in all that you have to bear and fulfill .
Therefore , be wise , sons , and put to work the love between you and God , between brother and brother then and with these to organize the sacrifice for the fasting from food , for almost all of you are gentle , for this is how God ’ s children are they are not like the sons of the world , rather they are fragile , they are gentle , and those who are like that have God as their Father , and have from the Lord given the grace of the love of God and brothers and also have a loving spirit of people and have in them the longing so that all people may be with God and to seek after Him with longing , to their temporary good and then eternal , oh , and this is the life and the heart of those who give themselves to God to be sons and heirs with Him forever , oh , and I do not know how to speak more sweetly to be gentle , meek and humble in your heart like God , sons .
Do not forget , oh , do not forget , sons , My advice for those who fast , for I said : « When you fast do not show to the people that you fast and in this way to lose your reward , rather be at peace , be gentle in your face , heart and conduct , and let only the Lord see your sacrifice in secret and let Him only reward you , He Who sees everyone ’ s heart in secret ».
If your body is weak and suffering , be wise and temperate , and work according to your power so that you have in your body too lest you may show your weakness from fasting to those on the side , and help each other and search your weaknesses to be able to do your customs that you have to carry , and on Saturday and Sunday eat food with oil to prepare the power of your body to be able to stand according to the Christian way to the day of resurrection , when the time of the fast rises and when the song of the resurrection is sung : Christ has risen !
Sons , eat bread with apples , with fruit , with seed ; drink water and add sweetness for a loving prayer to the Lord , sweet moments of brotherly fellowship for the love which the Father had and because of which He had sent Me to sacrifice Myself for your salvation and for the salvation of every man in all ages , oh , and in this way to get sweeten from our fellowship with Me , and let your conduct be warm , gentle , sweet , wise and spiritual , sons .
