About fasting and almsgiving
The man who does not love the Lord is a proud man who listens to himself . The proud one is known ; he is known by self-love , by self-obedience , and then his works expose him , just as the work of disobedience exposed Adam . And on this day the holy fathers put a holy order in the beginning over the church and they wrote for man to start with seven weeks of fasting and to prepare for the resurrection , to get used to the waiting for the resurrection and to work for it , as man needs resurrection .
Oh , man has to submit , as he did not submit in the beginning and because of his disobedience the first man died , and now man has to work his resurrection by his submission before the Lord and he has to fast , as he did not listen to do that .
Oh , man , your mistake has to be corrected . Your disobedience brought about your fall from heaven , and now we have to go back . You listened to the woman and no longer listened to God . When man is drawn to the woman , it is because the woman is drawn to man because of his disobedience to God and to his obedience to the woman . Oh , come and wake up , man ! The little angels between heaven and earth fly and work to help you to give up sinning and to pass from the flesh into the spirit , for your flesh does not serve you at anything but only to your separation from God , man .
Behold , the time of fasting is coming to the man ’ s help . Fast from sin , oh , sons of men ! Fast from your flesh , for the flesh draws the man away from God ; it draws him to the things of the flesh . Be calm in your heart and face lest the devil may rejoice over your proud fasting . Be mysterious between you and God , for God gives grace only to those who are humble .
I am giving a word of blessing for the time of the Lent , that before the feast of My resurrection . With every passing year I live again and again that what I lived and endured two thousand years ago , and I have always refreshed the man ’ s resurrection over those who have been following Me and doing My will in them , but there are too many those who do not love Me and do not seek after Me with My life in them . I cry for these ; I cry at the cross , I cry , and My crucifixion for them is always today . I cry and sigh on the cross ; I always cry today for those who do not seek with My cross .

Now , I am coming again into the midst of the Romanian people ; I am coming as the spoken word coming out from My own mouth and I am descending with it into My book of today and I am speaking to this nation on this Palm Sunday and I am telling it this :
Oh , My today ’ s people , to which I am coming from the Father , oh , Romanian people , behold , I am coming again and I am coming to you , for this is what the Father has wanted with you and with Me now , for the end of the time . You had to be Orthodox people with your whole being , which has been destined for God to be on this hearth now , in the end of the time , and your living has to be well seen , for faith without works , without its living with the works is written as disbelief . I suffer because you have not wanted to take after Me and after the saints and to fast from meat , from milk , eggs and fish for fifty days to get ready for My holy things and for the meeting of the feast of My resurrection and to be an Orthodox people by these . Oh , I suffer because you do not want to listen to the churchly law ,
