On behalf of the Williamson Association of Alumni ’ s ( WAA ) leadership team , we hope everyone enjoyed the holiday season . We would like to wish you a very happy new year .

Since the start of the school year , the WAA leadership team has been working diligently to establish a strong foundation for our new Williamson Association of Alumni . We have a dedicated group of alumni volunteers serving as committee chairs , working with the alumni office and the school to assess events ( old and new ), to better serve our alumni community . Strategies are being developed to improve communication and increase engagement with all alumni .

On January 31 , we invite you to join us for our first general membership meeting . At this meeting , we will review some of the WAA ’ s accomplishments , the work we are currently engaged in , and ways for you to get involved and support our association and the Williamson community . The meeting will also include a Town Hall with President Rounds during which he will update the community on a variety of projects and initiatives underway at the school . The general membership meeting will be held online on Tuesday , January 31 via Zoom . Access to the Zoom meeting will be shared with alumni by email . A recording of the meeting will also be available later .

The WAA Leadership Team is proud to serve as your representatives here at Williamson . We encouarge you to reach out to us with any questions or concerns , and also ideas for how to continue to grow and strengthen the alumni experience at Williamson . A graduate of Williamson ’ s Power Plant Technology Program in 1999 , Moran also holds a bachelor ’ s and master ’ s degree in organizational and strategic leadership from Neumann University .

After graduating from Williamson , he held multiple positions with SKF Reliability Systems , traveling the world setting up preventative and predictive maintenance packages for generating units , transmission substations , and various oil and gas refineries .

Since 2008 , he has been employed by

PJM Interconnection serving various roles in operations and compliance .

A 2002 graduate of Pine Grove Area High School and 2005 graduate of Williamson ’ s Power Plant Technology Program , Sudler has been employed at PPL Electric Utility since 2005 as a substation electrician . In 2019 , he was promoted to substation leader . He married his wife Noel in 2009 and they have two children .

He also serves as the Secretary of Pine Grove Masonic Lodge No . 409 .

The Williamson Association of Alumni ( WAA ) is pleased to present the annual alumni recognition awards for the 2022-2023 academic year .

Nominations are now being accepted for the Distinguished Alumnus Award and the Alumnus of the Year : Service to School Award .

The presentation of alumni awards is a long-standing tradition at Williamson . The awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of Williamson alumni in their professional endeavors and recognize alumni contributions to

Williamson and the wider community .

All Williamson alumni , students , staff , faculty , family , and friends are welcome and encouraged to nominate deserving alumni for the awards .
