Hi Classmates ,
Despite all the technological advances to make it easy to drop me some news , nothing came my way .
A slight change in my career , as retirement seems nowhere in sight . I am cutting back , and eventually stepping away from my side job of 34 years , so I can focus more on my ministry and comedy . Fixing stuff and building things for folks in wheelchairs has been a fantastic side job , but I sense it is time to move on . After 17 years of having a child in college , we just made our last tuition payment , so we are entering a new season . My oldest daughter , who lives next door , just blessed us with our sixth grandson . Passing 60 , I am scheduled for some tests and pictures to be taken tomorrow . I got my hair cut to look good , but I gotta drink some nasty liquid first , that I am told could keep me busy all night , and that the camera they are going to use has a hose attached to it .
Changing subjects , haven ’ t seen much of Roy Herring , Neil Cherry , or Bill Robbins on Facebook lately . The big news , the only news was the informal “ reunion ” and beach gathering of a few of our classmates . Here is a good summary of the events , the menu from crack reporter and concrete man , Art Noel .
Here ’ s the short version of the 40th reunion at the shore . We spent most of Friday afternoon / evening looking for Paul ’ s car keys and listening to his car alarm sound off . Friday night ’ s highlight was Joey D ’ s steaks on the grill ( followed by a couple potent potables ). Saturday included a trip to the Cape May Brewery for a beer tasting ( or two , or three ). We then met Mike ’ s second family at Jake ’ s Bar where we shot a couple games of pool . The afternoon was horseshoes in the backyard followed by an evening of darts in the garage . Because of the proximity to the bay , there were a couple short walking trips to check out the sunset . BTW , we also saw the moon Saturday night ( inside joke ). The general consensus , this is going to become another ’ 76er yearly tradition . The attached photographic evidence was provided by Rob Jordan .
Last minute news : Just saw a nice picture of Garey Stathes on my LinkedIn account . It says Garey is a vice president !! Not of a country , but of a department in Exelon , which is bigger than some countries .” Keep the news coming !!

Dear Classmates :
I hope this update finds you Happy and Healthy as we start 2017 . It ’ s hard to believe that the majority of us just turned or will turn 50 this year . I got a chance to go
to Homecoming back in the fall with my wife . The campus and shops looked great and they were about half way through building a new dorm . We went to the student store and purchased some new Williamson “ College ” apparel for ourselves and to give as Christmas gifts .
As we speak , Al Rosenberg is trying to plan an annual Brick Shop plus “ Brickie ” want-to-be ’ s dinner . The usual suspects will be attending : Brian Kaufmann , Jim Bowdler , Chris Craig , Mark Zadoga ( MIA ), Mike Van Horn , Bill Tarlo , Kevin Scolis , Dave Brown , and myself . If you live in the tri-state area and would like to attend the annual winter dinner in the future reach out to Al Rosenberg at alan . rosenberg @ restorecore . com to be added to the email list .
Besides that I don ’ t have much else to report . I have included a picture of myself and my dad Robert Fry Sr . 5W7 who turns 80 this year and is still going strong working regularly as a carpenter and volunteering on mission trips down south rebuilding homes destroyed by natural disasters . This picture is from Christmas 2016 : Robert W . Fry Sr . 5W7 and Robert W . Fry II 8W8 showing off our new Williamson College of the Trades apparel . Stay well me friends , Bobby “ Boogs ” Fry

where you have come from . To those who are back in school , I applaud you . Work hard as you did through Williamson and you will do well .
We have had two weddings since graduation , one being my own on Aug . 27 , 2016 , and , in the second , I would like to congratulate the new Mr . and Mrs . Alexander Wilwert . I was blessed to be able to witness the beautiful ceremony on Dec . 17 , 2016 . I am proud of you , Alex . Many prayers to you and your beautiful new bride .
While at the Wilwert wedding , I was able to catch up with a few fellow classmates . Of those were , Reuben Silva , who is currently working for Harkins Builders , an industry leader in preconstruction and construction management services in the Mid-Atlantic region . Jared Fersch is working for EDiS , whose core services are delivered through their construction management and design-build solutions . The company was founded in Delaware . Carl Edwards is working for Whiting-Turner , providers of construction management , general contracting , design-build and integrated project delivery services , and is headquartered in Maryland . Phil Veccholi
is working for Rinker and Brown , Custom Carpenters , and focuses on high-end trim and customization work in Pennsylvania . It was great catching up with you guys and I hope to see you again soon .
I sing at my church , Calvary Chapel of Delaware County , and during Christmas I sang at three services — once , on Friday , Dec . 23 , and two on Christmas Eve . I received the greatest surprise when I saw my good old brick shop brother , Pat Close , attending the first one of those services . I was so glad to see you Pat ; that made my night . At the next service I was hoping to see another classmate of mine , but I did not . At the third service , however , I did get another great surprise . I saw my good old machine shop brother , Brian Arrell . I ’ m really glad you came , buddy . I hope to see you and Pat at my church again .
I would like to hear from more of you guys and learn how you are doing . Please feel free to contact me at 610-721-3024 . Or , you can email me at the jpendleton16 @ williamson . edu . I hope this letter is received in good health , and my prayers go out to all of you . God bless !
