Homecoming ’ 21
Homecoming ’ 21 had something for everyone . The day opened with an exciting soccer game in which the varsity squad took on a tough alumni team . Ending with a 4-4 tie , the varsity team won 3-2 in a shoot-out . Next , the lacrosse varsity team took on an alumni team of seasoned veterans . Though the varsity squad trailed 7-1 at one point , they came back to win 11-10 . In the highlight of the day , the football team took on a fired-up New Jersey Warriors team . Though trailing 12-0 early in the game , the Mechanics figured things out and won 20-18 . Other events of the day included alumni getting reconnected with some old friends , a kid ’ s scavenger hunt , and shop visits .
