Hobbies: For years after Williamson, it was running! I ran on the cross country team and continued running in marathons until age 50, when I blew a hip-joint and my running days came to an end. I actually came back to Williamson in my late 30s or early 40s and ran with the Williamson team in a race on campus. There is a picture in the 2016 Alumni Today book. Playing the guitar, writing and recording music( I had my own recording studio), singing in church and as the entertainment at various functions. I still sing in church and once a month at a local senior citizens home. But, I often worry that one of these days they won’ t let me go. I traveled with an 8-piece country band on the road for several years, with a bus and the whole 9 yards. I’ ve had the pleasure to meet and sing with several country stars, such as the Gatlin Brothers. I am also an avid motorcycle rider and the wheels are turning anytime the weather is good.
Proudest Accomplishments: The marriage to my wife Selena, and my children. I love watching then grow and also being involved in the lives of my 13 grandchildren.
Fondest Williamson Memories: Graduation! Singing with the Tradesmen, running with the cross country team, our machine shop teacher“ The Boss,” trips home on the Pennsylvania turnpike with a carload of guys, being poor and not knowing it, some great teachers and mentors, singing Doo Wop Music in the bathroom of the dorm, listen-
ing to Johnny Cash on Dave Parker’ s record player, meals in the lunch room, KP duty, and trips in to Philly.
Advice for Today’ s Students: Cherish each day you spend at Williamson, you will never forget them. Thanks to Williamson, your life will never be the same. It will become the foundation upon which you will build the rest of your future.-- Class of 6W7--
