Fondest Williamson Memories: Pat sleeping with our window wide open in the middle of the winter. Some friendships that have lasted a lifetime. Ron Clark and I going to the beach for a weekend in my’ 52 Plymouth and having only a couple of bucks in my pocket.
Advice for Today’ s Students: Once you’ ve developed a plan and goals, stick with them for as long as you are able.

Proudest Accomplishments: In 1964, as a senior in high school my older brother was graduating from Williamson and seeking employment with Bailey Controls Co. I thought it would be an interesting career, followed through, got accepted at Williamson in the power plant curriculum. Upon graduation, I accepted a position with Bailey Controls as a field service technician. After about five years of studying, traveling, and extensive, diversified experiences in instrumentation and my Williamson education, I could finally walk into a plant on an emergency service call and introduce myself as“ Pitonyak is my name and Bailey is my game. I am here to’ hep ya.’” I attribute it all to Williamson of which I am very proud and grateful. Employed at Bailey, promoted to senior technical specialist, project service supervisor. Received several supervisor of the year awards, employed at SCECO, and achieving instrument and control supervisor. Seeing my daughters grow up, receiving an education, and proceeding with successful careers.
Fondest Williamson Memories: Geezer Night, Junior Night, Homecoming, Alumni Day, working power plant shifts and eating with the kitchen staff. Working weekends doing odds and ends for local patrons wanting good, dependable, economic labor.
Advice for Today’ s Students: Always take time to listen in your personal and professional life. Always approach a task and / or situation with a positive attitude. Be honest and sincere at all times. Be thankful and appreciative. Remember: no situation is insurmountable. Be happy and enjoy what you do in your career.
