BREAKFAST

Morning Eye Opener Blue Smoothie

Serving: 2 smoothies Total prep time: 5 min.
INGREDIENTS ½ cup hot water, boiled or microwaved 1 green tea bag 2 tsp agave syrup, or honey ½ whole ripe banana
1½ cups of frozen blueberries
½ cup calcium fortified light vanilla soy milk, or other milk alternative
½ cup ice
PREPARATION 1. Steep green tea bag in boiling water for 3-5 min., remove tea bag and add agave.
2. Place all ingredients into a blender or food processor. Blend at low then turn up to highest setting.
3. Add ice until desired consistency is met. Smoothie is best when served cold.
