better, while helping to maintain a
healthy weight.
There are also ways to cure a
craving by not actually giving in
entirely. Something homemade vs.
store bought; or something with
healthy substitutes rather than the
high fat or sugary option. Yo u can
find charts showing what your
body needs vs. what it craves. For
example, a need for chocolate –
the most craved food by women in
America today – is said to be a
sign you need more magnesium
and should eat more nuts, seeds,
veggies and fruits. Not exactly
what you are looking for when
chocolate is on the brain.
The fact of the matter is that
you only live once and if you
don’t indulge in a craving once in
a while you are missing out on one
of the simple pleasures of life. It is
important to remember everything
in moderation is key so splurge
here and there. Just try not to beat
yourself up if you give in to
cravings and get back on track for
the next snack or meal.
