LAVISH PERTH FUNDRAISER

Emma Milner ( pictured above ) of Ray White Dalkeith | Claremont in Perth has raised $ 115,000 for the Cancer Council in WA .
Emma ' s mum was diagnosed with cancer in 2018 and since then she has organised an annual fundraising event to raise money .
Known for its elegance and purpose , the latest event took place at The Waiting Room , at the Crown Towers Perth with a surprise guest speaker - none other than acclaimed Australian singer-songwriter , Samantha Jade .
All proceeds go towards helping West
Australians affected by cancer , including someone currently going through their cancer journey , those who have cancer treatment ahead of them , or a carer supporting their loved ones with cancer .
“ We want to create a memorable experience for all our guests , a moment to know that they are giving back to the West Australian community and families when they need it most . This is purely to celebrate life . As life can be completely changed when you hear those three words , “ you have cancer '," Emma said .
“ We love Cancer Council WA and what they do . Cancer Council WA is Western Australia ’ s leading cancer charity , working across every aspect of every cancer from support , research , prevention and advocacy . Currently , almost one in two Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85 . In WA alone , there are 13,000 people diagnosed with cancer each year .”
“ This donation is simply the start of a huge fundraising journey to ensure our young people have a place to play at school .”
