How long have you been playing ?
I started as a 14yo when I got injured playing soccer , so I got into playing golf . When you become a PGA member you do a three year apprenticeship and I finished my apprenticeship at 20 . I used to play golf on
tour for a living and I have played in a few Australian Opens .
What ' s your handicap ?
As a professional golfer we don ' t have a handicap so we play from scratch , which is zero .
What is your favourite course you ' ve ever played ?
I think Kingston Heath in Victoria would be my favourite . It ’ s an amazing golf course and I played really well there which can dictate whether you like a course or not .
What ' s your favourite club ?
My favourite club is the driver , it ’ s the one that goes the furthest and is more fun .
Any tips for beginners ?
Always start with two schooners before you play . But in seriousness , if you want to get serious at golf , go and get a lesson from a PGA professional .
