Wellbeing focus brings us Together

Workplace wellbeing is now considered to be one of the fundamentals of a thriving and successful organisation . There is no denying that teams who experience high levels of wellbeing have longer tenure , are more engaged , productive and resilient which drives increased innovation and collaboration .
Over the past few years , Samantha White Wellbeing Project Director has worked alongside many passionate corporate team members , our Wellbeing Champions , to deploy our corporate wellbeing initiative , Together .
We ’ re proud to say that we ’ ve seen an incredible change in the way our corporate team members across Australia and New Zealand interact with , and support , each other . Together truly has brought us closer together . establish Ray White as a leader in promoting wellbeing within the real estate industry .
What ' s even more exciting is that over the past few months , we ' ve had some really great conversations with some of our business leaders about wellbeing . We ' re absolutely thrilled to discover the fantastic initiatives that are already underway in your businesses . Here are a few great stories .

RAY WHITE FERNTREE GULLY , VIC
Ray White Ferntree Gully has 90 members in total .
Managing Director Pat McConnachie and the team of directors didn ’ t specifically intend to launch a wellbeing initiative , they just simply asked each other , “ what ' s going to be best for our people ”? Years later , focusing on what ’ s best for their employees , is still at the heart of every decision they make .
Pat and the team of directors all agree that if your mental health isn ’ t right , then your happiness , motivation and performance at work , and in your personal life , is affected .
“ For us it was an obvious way to show we can and add value to our members ”, Pat said .
We ’ re excited to build on the great work Samantha and the team started in June 2021 and further
“ One of the most valuable things we offer our team is the confidential Employee Assistance Program ( EAP ). The service is used regularly within the team and is actually predominantly used for personal reasons .”
Not only do they make sure there is lots of time for social activities to foster deeper connections with everyone across the whole business , they have open conversations with their team members about how they are genuinely feeling and look at ways to support each individual ’ s wellness needs .
“ We do a lot to promote physical wellbeing with the team as we know it directly impacts mental wellbeing , and we all love getting involved in various charities throughout the year as it ’ s a great feeling to give back ”, Ferntree Gully Human Resources and Operations Manager Verity Butler said .
