Ray White New Zealand members have walked, ran, swam, and rode through March in order to raise much needed funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities as part of their House to House campaign.
Ray White New Zealand has been a proud supporter of RMHC NZ since 2007, and this is the second year the Ray White New Zealand network has participated in House to House as RMHC NZ’ s official appeal partner.
So far this year, Ray White New Zealand has raised more than $ 100,000
Ray White Invercargill for RMHC during the House to House campaign.
“ At Ray White, we understand that home is more than just four walls, it’ s where families come together, especially in challenging times. That’ s why we proudly support RMHC NZ’ s House to House challenge each year,” Ray White New Zealand chief agency officer Treena Drinnan said.
“ Families should never have to worry about where they’ ll stay when their child is in hospital, and RMHC NZ provides them with a home away from home when they need it most.
“ As a business dedicated to helping people find their place to call home, we are honoured to stand alongside RMHC NZ and help keep families close."
With 250 participants in 90 teams across the country, Ray White New Zealand regional engagement manager Alice Mackenzie said the group was an unstoppable force of fundraisers.
“ We are incredibly proud to support Ronald McDonald House Charities through the House to House campaign,” Alice said.
“ It’ s inspiring to see so many of our members coming together to raise much-needed funds for families with a child in hospital.
“ Giving back to our communities is at the heart of what we do, and this cause aligns perfectly with Ray White’ s values of family, community, and connection.”
The Ray White Deception Bay team in Queensland brought some magic back to their town’ s foreshore earlier this year.
As part of their annual Clean Up Australia Day efforts, the team gave their local‘ Fairy Way’ some much-needed care( pictured above).
Fairy Way, a beloved community spot in Deception Bay, first appeared in 2020 when local volunteers from Moreton Bay Community Rocks began decorating and placing painted rocks along Esplanade South. The initiative quickly gained popularity, with visitors bringing their own decorated rocks to swap, further growing the display.
Rebecca Johnston from the Ray White Deception Bay events and marketing team said one of the business’ mission statements was to be more passionate about their area than their competitors.
“ We try to do something that aligns with that once or twice a year. For example last year, we did the Heritage Trail along the waterfront for the team to learn a bit more about the history of Deception Bay,” Rebecca said.
“ Hearing from local marine biologist, Bob Crudington, was part of this alignment as we have an Environmental Hub in our suburb that we hired out as part of our biannual training.
“ We have a new staff member Karen Stanton who after the marine chat was inspired to go and take a walk along the Deception Bay foreshore. In doing so she came across Fairy Way and felt we could do a working bee there as part of our annual Clean Up Australia Day which we do down on the foreshore every year.

“ We had a great time fixing up Fairy Way and received some really heart warming community feedback as well. Fairy Way is a community garden that is used by everyone and contributed to by the community.”
