Ray White shines light on its top leaders

Megan Jaffe ' s journey is one of the most remarkable in our industry across Australia and New Zealand .
By working on her own leadership development , she has expanded her personal and professional scope from ' Megan Jaffe Real Estate ' to what has been Ray White ’ s number one international office nine times .
Megan created a platform of high expectations , unwavering leadership and support for her team .
She has taken a focus on developing sales people of the highest order , based on a central belief in delivering excellence at every opportunity to both her team and their clients .
As part of the Leadership Academy week , top business owners from around Australia and New Zealand heard from some of the group ’ s best leaders .
“ When I was getting going , Brian White told me to go out to the end of the diving board and jump off . But he didn ’ t tell me that the tide had gone out ,” she said .
“ My job is to draw the best out on people so they can be their best self .
“ I always believed I could do this . You have to feel the glimmers of hope . I learned early to find the glimmers in myself and with other people .”

Ray White New Zealand executive chairman Carey Smith interviewed the White family , who he has worked for for the last 30 years .
He highlighted the work that Ray White stands for , and the generational change within the family which saw its business established in 1902 .
Chairman Brian White ( pictured below with Carey Smith ) said he got such a thrill to see the fourth generation family owned and led business that was still getting stronger .
Two of the best leaders inside the Ray White Group , Ray White Collective owners Haesley Cush and Matt Lancashire ( pictured above ) spoke about their journey . The pair makes business look like a buddy movie .
The best friends are top business owners and have known each other since they were little kids . Their story of business leadership is nothing short of incredible .
“ Partnership is the only ship that never leaves the shore ,” Haesley said .
Former associates Brandon Wortley and Scott Darwon , are now business partners , along with Nicholas Given .
“ It doesn ' t happen very often to reach a fourth generation business , it ' s very rare and we are stronger every year for 121 years ,” he said .
“ The associate program was something Matt did very well and it grew organically . We talk about G . V . A . We aim to be ‘ genuine , valuable and authentic ’ - so we physically work out once a week with our associates and we habit stack . We have coffee once a month with them too ,” Haesley said .
His biggest advice to all the Ray White business owners was : “ praise your teams . Praise people who refer business to us ”.
“ Praise is one of the greatest gifts in the development of a leader .”
