The humble
Ray White office
BY NINA CLARKE
We ’ ve scouted for some of our most beautiful , unique , or interesting offices from around our network ; offices that represent their distinct local community and provide a comfortable , homely atmosphere for staff and clients alike . We spend a great deal of our lives at the office in a post-pandemic world , which is why investment in a lovely space is more important than ever .
Ray White Arrowtown , NZ
“ We think our Arrowtown office is pretty special . Arrowtown is a historic gold mining town with strict guidelines on the building frontage and signage . When I was a kid in the 80s , the space was actually a beer garden attached to the pub next door . In the 90s , the building was erected and dressed to look like the rest of the street . We ’ ve kept the interior more like a living room than an office , complete with a local schist fireplace .”

Ray White Blackheath , NSW
“ Our directors , Alan and Suzette are long-term Blackheath residents . We have a long connection with the building . We were tenants in the upstairs part of this building . Our team was spread across two locations , here and down the street . Our dream was to bring the team back to one location .
“ We had a vision , so when the building came on the market , we thought we could convert the downstairs space to our office space . It ’ s a heritage building on the outside and inside . It was a labour of love and we ’ re proud of how we retained heritage items and restored others . I feel like we ’ ve given back to the community that has given us so much by investing in our town ’ s architecture and by using local craftsmen . Breathing new life into an old classic building .”
