The White Report | March 2022 | Page 2

WELCOME

As we close the first quarter of this new year , we remain in awe of our incredible members . The energy and commitment of our members across the length and breadth of Australia and New Zealand has remained relentless despite all the obstacles that came their way .
This is the third edition of the new look quarterly White Report , bringing you the news and highlights for the Ray White group this quarter . Whether it be events , team news , individual achievements or love stories , there is so much news to share !
In this edition , we express how keen we are to see you all at our marquee conference , Connect 2022 on the Gold Coast 7-9 August . This will be our biggest and best international conference ever . It ’ s been too long between drinks as they say , and with an impressive lineup of inspirational speakers , international awards and amazing parties , it ’ s promising to be a fantastic few days .
Our Leading Ladies initiative continues to gain momentum , and so we proudly highlight in this White Report the many events that took place in March to celebrate the women in our group .
Despite the ravages of floods on the east coast of Australia and COVID-19 , we remain united and stronger as a whole than ever before . We have captured many of the amazing stories of our members supporting their communities . And speaking of community service , we remain over-run by stories of our members supporting local charities and sporting teams .
For the first time , we showcase three regions and the business owners who lead businesses in them . These stories highlight the great diversity of marketplaces and the depth of leadership across our group .
We hope you enjoy this edition of the White Report .

I believe that 50 per cent of your outcomes are due to what you are born into , and 50 per cent is learned . I made a decision to commit to myself , and take action in my life , regardless of the adversities it threw at me .
I encourage all women to carefully consider and think about the reasons they think are holding them back from achieving success . Back in the 1950s my mum had only the choice of being a nurse , secretary or teacher ; whereas now , the sky is the limit and we can achieve anything we put our minds to .

I have found a real niche in the real estate industry which works for the personal side of my life . As my home life changed , I needed to make changes to my career to make it fit for me and the life stage that I was at .
Asking for help is something I believe everyone should learn to feel comfortable with , as well as learning to take deep breaths , and bringing yourself back to being present in the moment .
Life is a work in progress , don ’ t feel like you have to have the answers and perfect balance , but be brave enough to ask for what you need to thrive .
