Behind every sale is a story

Growing up in Townsville , my dad was a sales agent and my mum loved all things property . From a young age I remember showing interest and having an appreciation of beautiful homes and would often spend hours simply looking at gorgeous homes online .
We would often visit Brisbane during the holidays and I remember occasions where my parents and I would drive around the inner city suburbs to simply gaze at the homes that often took my breath away online .
In 2006 we drove to Bulimba as my parents were considering moving to Brisbane . There was one home in particular that caught our eye and I remember stopping the car and taking a photo of the home . Although our plans ultimately led us elsewhere , that house became an inspiration for my parents when building their new home .
Fast forward to 2019 , I found myself making the exciting move to Brisbane , beginning my journey as a sales associate at Ray White Bulimba . Driving through the familiar streets , reminiscent of those cherished family trips , I would often point out the house at 9 Addison Avenue to whoever was in the car with me , sharing the story behind its significance .
Little did I know that 16 years later , I would proudly stand in front of that very house alongside my colleague , Robyn Hoare , having successfully sold it . The accomplishment held a special place in my heart as it not only marked a remarkable sale but also set a new record for the area , selling for an impressive $ 4.65 million , all within my first year as a solo agent .
I remember calling my parents when the deal was done at 11:30pm and they knew exactly which house I was referring to which made the moment even more surreal and profound .
As I continue to forge my path in the industry , I carry with me the memories of that magnificent waterfront home , forever reminding me of the incredible possibilities that lie within the world of real estate .
