A LITTLE RAY OF GIVING : OVER 10 YEARS OF DONATIONS

A Little Ray of Giving is our annual charity drive that helps offices foster meaningful relationships with local communities throughout November and early December .
Over the past decade , Ray White offices participating in A Little Ray of Giving have asked customers — past , present and future — and to other members of their local communities to collect gifts for a variety of not-for-profit organisations .
It ' s an opportunity to get festive , creative and proactive in the lead up to Christmas by bringing both seasonal joy and comfort to thousands of underprivileged individuals and families across Australia and New Zealand .
The initiative , which strengthens community bonds , is more important than ever while Australia and NZ continue to battle the uncertainty that comes with shifting markets .
Last year over 4,000 items were donated , including gifts , food items and clothes . It ’ s safe to say that , since 2011 - when the initiative began - the group has collected and donated more than tens of thousands of presents .
In 2021 , 207 Ray White offices participated in A Little Ray of Giving . This year we ’ re aiming for more than 300 offices to be involved .
Many offices participate every year , or have participated across consecutive years . However , since we have new offices joining the group every year , there are always quite a few businesses who take the opportunity to engage with the campaign for the first time .
Our standout performers in 2021 were Ray White Pomona Hinterland and Ray White Kerikeri - who both received best decorations in Australia and New Zealand respectively .
The most donations were received from Ray White Reservoir ( over 520 gifts and donations collected ) and Ray White Wellington City ( over 265 gifts and donations collected ).
