There ’ s an old saying you never really know what is going on behind closed doors .
Through the NurtureCloud rollout , we ’ ve been able to have a sneak peek of what is actually happening . It reminds me of an analogy that my mum always told me - to untie my shoelaces before I take off my shoe . I never did ... and I may still be guilty of that today ( sorry mum !).
For years , we have educated our members on how to add data and structure their databases - the property is the constant , the owner is the variable . Alas , we have found that so many of our offices failed to hear the message . Now I know how mum must have felt .
A common process we ’ ve seen is that agents have added the owner first and then added the property as a by-product - making the functionality of MyDesktop and now VaultRE useless - and what we know in the new world of NurtureCloud is that it definitely doesn ’ t work .
I asked many of our business owners why they did it this way when we told them ad nauseum - they gave me the same reason I gave my mum - it ’ s easier this way and I never thought you ’ d find out .
