Business owners Gio and Santo Spinella brought their team across to Ray White only 18 months ago and have now participated in their fourth Real Estate of Origin . Townsville is one of our highest volume businesses . The team were chasing 100 appraisals for the day after booking 96 last time , they ended up with 105 appraisals by the end of the day .
“ We get a lot of value out of these appraisal drives and we ’ re looking to do better than last time ,” Gio said , wearing a pair of Qantas pyjamas
“ Stock is still down , we have less than 1,200 homes on the market in the whole region . There ’ s a massive amount of people coming through open homes and we ’ re still seeing things sell above the asking price .
“ It ’ s a perfect storm and regional Queensland is pushing hard as always .”
All Ray White Upper North Shore ’ s associates and many agents joined the fun at their Harry Potter themed REOO in the Turramurra office , making magic happen ( pictured above ).
The day was a huge amount of fun and hard work that paid off with Upper North Shore winning the Ray White award for top office / group for most calls made across the network .
Internally , they had a great prize up for grabs . All associates were placed into teams and the winning team , Slytherin , on 704 points won a day out at the Harry Potter Escape Rooms next month .
Overall they logged 2,204 calls , 669 connects and 82 appraisals . This was their highest number of calls made in any one day throughout the 23 / 24 financial year .
At the Ray White Lower North Shore office , the team made 819 calls and booked 52 appraisals collectively , as well as generated 15 new leads during REOO .
" We achieved double the appraisals and made twice as many calls compared to the last REOO ," Managing Director Richard Harding said .
" This really sets us up for the spring market ."
For those in need of a break , there was also a putting green available
The Ray White Mooloolaba and Kawana Waters teams ( pictured above ) gathered together at the Lakehouse on the Sunshine Coast for REOO . Director James Goldsworthy said they had been participating in Real Estate of Origin since the very beginning .
“ It ’ s really important to us . We have the leaderboard up on the big screen , our property managers are here , our administrators are here , making sure we have everything running smoothly ,” he said .
“ It ’ s a big day for us and it ’ s going to set us up for the rest of the year .”
The Ballarat market may be getting tougher but the team from Ray White Ballarat have turned to auction to deal with their slowing market .
“ The market has been tougher and every day we are noticing that the market is slowing and prices are coming right back ,” director Will Munro said .
“ But the good thing is , we adapt and we are doing more auctions and making more calls so we ’ re doing better compared to the rest of the market .
“ It ’ s a tough market but we are embracing NurtureCloud and the energy has been great .”
