Returns to Queens
For the second year in a row , the 2024 Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show returns to the iconic USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center .
The National Tennis Center is the home of the US Open Tennis Championships , one of the highest-attended annual sporting events in the world . Sitting on 42 acres in Queens , New York , the National Tennis Center boasts three of the largest tennis stadiums worldwide , including the largest , Arthur Ashe Stadium . A perfect location for the second-longest continuously held sporting event in the US , the prestigious Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show .
The sprawling grounds are the perfect canvas for Westminster Week , comprising five dog sport competitions and several demonstrations to delight dog lovers . The Westminster Kennel Club is excited to partner again with this impressive organization and expansive facility to host the 148th annual event . The electric evening competitions , including the 11th Annual Master Agility Finals , 90th Annual Junior Showmanship Finals , Group , and Best in Show competitions , will all be held in Arthur Ashe Stadium , surrounded by an audience rooting for their favorite dogs .
As non-profit organizations , The Westminster Kennel Club and the USTA are a natural fit . They have NYC as a birthplace , welcome all enthusiasts , and , more importantly , have similar missions of raising awareness for their passions .
