MR . MARK COCOZZA of London , England , has been involved in dogs for over 40 years , with his first breed , Afghan Hounds . He has owned / bred UK Champions in Afghan Hounds , Miniature Wirehaired Dachshunds , Petit Basset Griffon Vendeens , Ibizan Hounds , Tibetan Terriers , and French Bulldogs . Amongst Mr . Cocozza ’ s champions were multiple Group winners , including the Best in Show winning Champion Araki Fabulous Willy , who later went on to win Best in Show at Crufts in 2007 .
Mr . Cocozza began judging when he was 16 years old and is approved to judge the Hound , Utility ,
Terrier , Toy Groups , and Best in Show in England . He has judged extensively worldwide , including at many national all-breed “ Winners Shows ” and many National Specialties in various breeds . He has judged at Crufts on many occasions , including the Hound Group in 2020 and the Utility Group in 2023 . He has also judged at other notable prestigious shows , including Sydney Royal , Helsinki Winners , Amsterdam , and Best in Show at the Santa Barbara Kennel Club . This is his first judging assignment at Westminster .
DR . JOYCE DANDRIDGE of Washington D . C . became involved with dogs as a child growing up with her family ’ s Chow Chows . Dr . Dandridge exhibited as a breeder-owner-handler in conformation and obedience for more than thirty-three years earning awards and titles in both areas .
In addition to exhibiting , she has been the Show Chairwoman for Specialties , served on the board of dog clubs , and held various officer positions for the Southern Chow Chow Club , Capital Dog Training Club of Washington D . C ., National Capital Kennel Club , and the Mid-Atlantic Stewards . She also served as the Corresponding Secretary for the Chow Chow Club , Inc . for 18 years . Additionally , she has served as an AKC Delegate since 2006 and currently serves on a Delegate committee . Dr . Dandridge is the recipient of the AKC Outstanding Sportsmanship Award and has received lifetime memberships from her parent and obedience clubs .
Presently , she is approved to judge the Non-Sporting and Working Groups , some Herding and Toy breeds . She has judged four National Specialties of different breeds , including the Chow Chow National Specialty show . This is her first judging assignment at Westminster .
MR . TED W . EUBANK of Dallas , Texas , gained his appreciation for the thrill of hunting with dogs and the canine camaraderie involved while growing up in the open country . His love , respect , and admiration for dogs have always been essential to his life . Mr . Eubank bought his first Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in 1990 , and that dog ’ s integration into their family spiraled into a life-consuming passion . Over the next 25 years , he owned , loved , and bred over 100 AKC champions under the “ Pinecrest ” prefix .
As a breeder-owner-handler , he accumulated many accolades , but none topped the Best of Breed wins at The Westminster Kennel Club in 2007 and 2008 with Champion Pinecrest Rock The Boat . “ Rocky ” was ranked # 1 Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and had been awarded 8 All-breed Best in Show wins and 75 Toy Group first wins . Mr . Eubank ’ s also again won Best of Breed at Westminster in 2013 and Crufts in England in 2016 .
He has had assignments to judge Cavalier King Charles Spaniels in eight countries worldwide . Mr . Eubank is approved to judge the Toy Group , numerous Sporting breeds , and Junior Showmanship . This is his first assignment at Westminster .
MS . KATHLEEN J . FERRIS of Holland , Pennsylvania , is a second-generation dog fancier who started in 1972 with a Scottish Terrier named McDuff . Her mother was a professional handler , and her father was a dog show judge . The family ’ s kennel of “ Wychwood ” Scottish Terriers earned many wins over the years and a respected name in the Terrier world .
After a career in Human Resources , Ms . Ferris started handling professionally in the mid-1980s . She was a Kennel Review New Handler of the Year nominee and piloted a West Highland White Terrier to the number one ranked Terrier . In 2002 she retired to manage her family ’ s large boarding kennel . She is an active member of Bucks County Kennel Club , Montgomery County Kennel Club , Hatboro Dog Club , and Scottish Terrier Club of America and a former AKC Gazette breed columnist .
Ms . Ferris began judging in 2005 and is approved to judge the Terrier Group , some Toy breeds , and Best in Show . This is her first judging assignment at Westminster .
