to the ground
Like a tiny ballet dancer; pirouetting her way to her
Doomed destination. Lost in her
little feather-light daydreams,
She doesn’t even realize that she’s
slowly but surely
Taking a nose-first dive into the
concrete.
With a brush and a whisper-thin
scrape she lands.
