Over the next three years, The Weiss School will be launching an exciting new program we call our
“Centers of Excellence,” which is built off of our current curriculum. Each year two subject-areas will
be elevated to the next level (Language Arts and Science & Technology in 2014/2015). Students
will leave The Weiss School being effective writers and proficient public speakers. This area of our
curriculum is designed to enhance both critical thinking and communication skills. We are building
a brand-new science lab based around the various disciplines such as biology, chemistry and
physics to enrich science based learning. Our “Early Discovery” initiative will present complex topics
to students in 1st and 2nd grade. These are just a few of the exciting components of our new
“Centers of Excellence” program beginning next year.
