POEMS BY TOM W. BUCHANAN
I can never forget you
Sweet Lutie Ann
With dimples in your cheeks so fine
When I finally come home
My sweet Lutie Ann
Now and forever,
You’ll always be mine
Lutie Ann I can never let you go
No other love this wonderful
I will even know.
“Some moments leave you breathless and are gone, but others linger for
a lifetime, like tattoo upon your very soul.”
Where are lofty trees
rich foliage of living green
like stars
in my sky.
and lovely birds I wish to
see
with wonderful songs I
have heard?
Memories
that cannot be erased
by time’s passing
Where are delicate flowers I
touched in perfect perfumed air
and the girl I love so much
with a golden red halo
in her hair.
Memories
that cannot be erased
by tears I cry
Memories
you cannot erase
