“We organised for each of our
guest’s rooms to have a thank you
poem and a map of the region for
their arrival.
My best friend’s husband made
the sign for our flower girl to hold
walking down the aisle and another
friend made the rose petal cones
using doiley paper.
My sister did some gorgeous
blackboard signs for the ceremony
and reception. I bought table
numbers from Bunnings, covered
them in silver glitter and sprayed
them with a clear lacquer. I also did
the same for some ‘Love’ signs to
place near the wishing well, which
Shane had made.
In the bathrooms we had a poem
inviting guests to freshen up and
provided a box full of deodorant,
bobby pins, hairspray, face wipes,
tissues etc.”
