The Ceremony
“I love all things rustic and vintage, so from the get go we knew this would
be our theme. We immediately began searching second-hand stores, garage
sales and demolition yards for all of the beauties that were part of our day.
Our ceremony was in a big, open park just 200 metres from our reception
venue. We used the venue’s tiffany chairs and had a beautiful wooden arbour
and vintage door entrance to the aisle.
We also used a pink vintage dresser as a cocktail stand for guests to enjoy on
arrival. I designed a 'Welcome to the Wedding of' chalkboard sign, which sat
on a big wooden easel to greet guests.”
