Exhibition opportunities at New Brighton library
New Brighton Library / Te Kete Wānanga o Karoro has space available for artists to
show work on a monthly basis. Many visitors pass through our doors daily, and
showing work at the library is a great opportunity for artists' work to reach a diverse
audience. Please come in and see us if you are interested, or send an email to

Events for Adults:
Free CV Drop-in sessions:
Thursdays 10-11.30am. Librarians will be available to offer basic assistance with
creating, updating, editing and printing your CV. No booking required.
After School Events

Every Wednesday 3.30p.m – 4.30p.m.
Monday Makers
Mondays 3.30p.m – 4.30p.m. Come in and try a different activity each week. Free
Maker Space Workshop Club
Every Tuesday 3.30 – 4.30. This dynamic and innovative workshop will explore a range
of exciting technologies. Free
Reading to Dogs
Every Wednesday 3.30 – 4.30p.m Designed to provide a relaxed, non-threatening
atmosphere which encourages children to practise their reading skills and develop a
love of reading. Sessions are 15 minutes long. Bookings essential either by coming into
the library or calling (03) 941-7923.
