Greetings New Brighton
Welcome to Autumn.
It still feels pretty balmy out there but it is definitely time
to start thinking about winter preparation. Keep in mind that last year
Christchurch had a massive shortage of fire wood in the middle of the
season. Many people who rely on log burners to heat their homes were
caught short with long waits for orders, at much higher prices than usual.
The fun is not over though, the Ray White Duke Festival of Surfing kicks off
on the 11 th of the month with a week of fantastic events, see page’s 2 & 3 for
more info.
This Easter Saturday is the Seaside Market‘s Bubble Day with all sorts of
bubbly fun! See page 25 or find our event on our Facebook page.
Looking for a new dining venue? The Lighthouse Café is now open for
Italian dining on Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights from 5:30pm and their
BYO licence is only a few weeks away.
New Brighton Project has some Thank You’s to share on page 6.
