Brighton Gallery is a community Gallery of local artists run by a charitable trust for the benefit of local artists, we are situated in shop 4 Carnaby Lane off New Brighton mall down from Switch Café, between Bear Lion Café and New Brighton Regeneration Hub( ex AMI) and opposite Paper Plus
Brighton Gallery 2018 Calendars are now ready for sale.
Brighton Gallery is a unique space, we have a great membership and the standard of art works is amazing.. What we offer:
Vibrant artworks changed monthly. Monthly feature artist. Exhibition space for hire( monthly) reasonable rates. Greeting cards. Art classes from professional tutors, five days, four evenings each week, children, adult and family classes. Drawing, Acrylic, oil, water colour and pastel, classes are kept small so booking is essential. Reasonable rates,( some classes include materials).
Commission work: Have your Portraits, pets, landscapes, still life abstracts painted. Reasonable rates. A deposit applies, call and discuss your needs.
Coming Events....-December exhibition by Graeme Ritchie- Gallery will be closed on 25 th / 26 th Dec. 2017 and 1 st / 2 nd Jan. 2018 only.

Take a break from Christmas shopping and create your own beautiful, delicious and personalised Christmas gifts with Te Waka Aroha South Brighton’ s Handmade Christmas. We are putting together a series of workshops with some of our talented locals for you to attend. The December 10th workshop links in with Greenpeace ' s MAKE SMTHNG WEEK and is a free session. THE GREAT SOUTH BRIGHTON REINDEER HUNT Bring a little festive fun to South Brighton by participating in The Great South Brighton Reindeer Hunt!( 1) Pick up an entry form from Te Waka Aroha South Brighton, South New Brighton School or Challenge Southshore( available from December 1 2017).( 2) Pay your entry fee, two non-perishable grocery items, one to go into a prize hamper and one to be donated to The Compassion Trust.( 3) Build your own reindeer out of whatever you can rustle up and display your creation
