6 Library Activities Our regular events, such as Babytimes, Storytimes and Minecraft are coming to a close for the year in the 3rd week of December. The library will be closed on 25 th and 26 th December, and the 1 st and 2 nd , of January, but open all the rest of summer! Christmas Storytimes On Tuesday 12 th of December we will have a very special Christmas Storytimes session with stories songs and a very special guest! 10.30 – 11am. Free, no booking required. Kids ‘Wild About Reading’ Competition Our annual Summertime Reading Club programme is for kids between 0 and 13 years old. You can pick up a challenge sheet from any Christchurch City Library and when you have had an adult tick, sticker or stamp that you have had 5 reading experiences from the options listed on the challenge sheet. Once you have completed this, hand it to a staff member to be in to win great prizes.
