Computing For Beginners
We are pleased to offer this popular course starting August 2 nd . This programme runs for six weeks
and is a gentle introduction to computers and covers using a mouse, keyboard, saving and retrieving
documents, searching the internet and setting up an e-mail account. The cost for this course is $15.00.

eResources Tasters
Starting September 4th we will be hoisting introductory sessions about some of our popular
eResources. These will run on the first Monday of the month until the end of the year. Our first taster
session will be for PressReader which gives you same-day access to more than 2,000 newspapers and
over 500 magazines from around the world. Get newspapers or magazines a day from around New
Zealand and the world on your phone or tablet. These sessions run from 10.30am – 12pm. Free, no
booking required.
How to Organise and Edit your Digital Photos
Got a camera full of photos you don’t know what to do with? We can help. Learn to organise your
photos and try some basic editing using online editing software. Bring your camera and USB cables.
Saturday August 19 th 1.30 – 3.30pm. The cost for this course is $7. To book a place in this course please
