It was beautiful sunny day and a great turn out to
New Brighton Seaside Market’ s annual Community Blackboard Concert on Saturday 25 February. The Talent Show was a popular event again this year, with all ages and talents joining in. From a Martial Arts demonstration, solo and duo singers and dancers to a youth three piece band, the crowd had plenty to choose from when placing a vote for the People’ s Choice winners. In the end, it was local

Kia ora,

I just want to say a HUGE thank you to the team at the New Brighton Project for all your help with

organising another successful New Brighton mobile blood drive. Here are a few stats you might be interested in …
48 people came along to give blood on Wednesday. 13 of these were brand new donors – this is a high number of new donors again for the New Brighton mobile.

9 people were unable to donate for various reasons. We collected 39 units( just 1 under target which is fantastic!).

As well as the 13 brand new donors, there were several returning donors – people that are on our system but hadn’ t donated for a number of years and are lost to us until they return at mobiles such as this.
There were also a number of people who were giving blood for their 2 nd time on Wednesday after making their first ever donation at the mobile in August. This is such good news because we are beginning to grow a committed group of donors in the New Brighton who area will come and donate regularly at the Grace Vineyard mobile.
Thank you so much for all your support with promoting the mobile and allowing us to run a stall at the Seaside Market last Saturday. We couldn’ t have done it without your help.
Thank you & kindest regards,
