What inspired you to become a tattoo artist?
i was a big time graffiti artist in my small town and thought it would be cool to be able to put
my mark on peoples skin.
Do you remember the first tattoo that you ever done?
my first tattoo was a very small black and grey zombie body on a friend of my mentor. it was
maybe 3 inches tall.
How would you describe your tattooing style?
my style tends to drift twords the more realistic or creepy haha
What has been the most difficult place for you to tattoo a man / woman?
private areas...
Do you have any tats? If so how many?
yes i have many tattoos, not sure how many though. 175 hours haha
Did you do any of them yourself?
i have done about 50 hours of tattooing on myself.
What is your best tattoo horror story?
i had a guy who neglected to tell me he was on special medication and had a seizure during
a tattoo. to this day he hasn't finished it.
What is your take on people getting drunk and then getting inked?
i don't mind it as long as they know before hand what they want to get and they are not
drinking hard liquor.
What is the craziest tattoo you ever put on someone?
a realistic cat butt whole hahaha
How big was largest tattoo you’ve ever done?
entire long sleeve t shirt!
Are there any tattoo artists that inspire you?
many tattoo artist inspire me, mike devrise, bob tyrell, paul acker, big sleeps
What’s the secret to being a great tattoo artist?
practice! and passion
What is your favorite tattoo done by you?
right now my favorite tattoo is on my wife, and its our cat.
For a first timer, where would you recommend they get a tattoo to experience the least
amount of pain?
yes, many people try to overstep and it ends up hurting the tattoo.
Words of advice for anyone that wants to become a tattoo artist?
this is a very hard industry to learn, but it is well worth it.
