that serving breakfast in bed is necessary for all of your guests! Consider this a luxurious treat for your guests who are on a honeymoon or anniversary visit, or add it to your more exclusive packages. A bedside breakfast will make your guests feel incredibly special and tended-to on his or her visit, with a unique memory to last a lifetime. However, many of us haven’t served a breakfast in bed since a Mother’s Day many years ago, so let’s get a little refresher on how to make a breakfast tray of dreams!

Getting Started

First, you’ll want to invest in a few

quality breakfast trays. If you’re comfortable with guests dining in the actual bed, try to find a well-constructed breakfast tray with handles for carrying and fold-out legs so that the tray may fit comfortably over your guest’s lap. If your guest rooms have large enough bedside tables or desks, you may want a more traditional tray with a flat bottom. You’ll also want to acquire a few personal-sized teapots and carafes for tea and coffee, as well as small knives and spoons for jams and butter.

It’s a good idea to prep the meal the night before, so you or your staff don’t get frazzled in preparing the special breakfast in the morning. When you’ve conferred with your guests on what they
