veryone loves to walk away with something when attending an auction and the annual AIHP Summit Silent
and Live Auctions allow so many to make that claim.
From the winning bidders who hovered over their bids last year for the All Clad pans and the King Arthur bundles of products to the very competitive bidders for trips to Costa Rica, California, Virginia and more, there were lots of winners.
In fact, at the 2017 Summit in Long Beach 68 attendees walked away as winners! What you may not realize is the purpose of these auctions is to underwrite the most appreciated B&Bs for Vets program and provide monies for
our general administration costs, keeping your membership fees as low as possible.
So what’s planned for Summit 2018? Since we are all about travel, watch for more destinations around the US to choose from. Generous innkeepers in Maine were the first to offer two nights at three inns for a wonderful 6-night visit to the coast of Maine! Innkeepers in Virginia are gathering to create a Magical History Tour throughout the Commonwealth. We extend that challenge to any state to
create a package that portrays the best of your state.
As you register for Summit 2018, you have an opportunity to say “Yes” to offer an item for our silent auction. From bottles of wonderful wines, getaways to your properties to products and services, we hope you’ll be generous so we can all be winners.
