“We are thoroughly enjoying our membership with AIHP, and being a part of a non-profit organization dedicated to the education and promotion of our industry,” says innkeeper Bruce Brown. “What impresses us most is our opinions matter. AIHP has a great future because of its focus on our profession and on the members.”

The Captain Jefferds Inn

Discover why travelers from the world over are drawn to the beautiful scenery and coastal charm of southern Maine. The Captain Jefferds Inn, located in the historic residential district of the village, makes it an easy walk to Kennebunkport’s many fine restaurants, unique shops, art galleries and beaches. Captain Jefferds built a home for his wife and 11 children in 1804. It was established in 1980 as a 16-room bed and breakfast, five of which are pet friendly.

Sarah and Erik Lindblom own and operate The Captain Jefferds Inn. “My husband and I are founding members and support AIHP as we feel this organization best supports the future of the innkeeping community,” says Sarah.
