WIDE NEWS - COUNTRYWIDE NEWS - COUNTRYWIDE NEWS Hello... Welcome new arrivals Amy, Laura, Emma and Caron. Amy: “It’s hard to believe it’s two years already!” Joining in July 2011, Amy’s our longest serving new starter. She came to Countrywide fresh from university. “I’d worked part time in a supermarket, but this is my first full time role – and I love it! It’s completely different to the retail environment – there are lots of new things to learn, but it’s always very rewarding. It really feels like our clients see us as friends.” Laura: “Amy got a job here first and liked it so much she let me know when a vacancy became available.” Laura followed Amy to Countrywide Customer Services and hasn’t looked back. “It’s always interesting… I enjoy speaking to clients. And it really puts a new perspective on things. It’s easy to get worn down by a headache for example, but when you speak to our clients you realise how much they have to deal with – and just how well they deal with it.” Emma: “I had quite a varied CV before coming here, mainly retail – but I was working as cabin crew for BA before joining Countrywide.” In her role as Assistant Office Supervisor, Emma helps support the team, and she’s found that support reciprocated from clients too. “My dad has been diagnosed with throat cancer since I started working here. It gives me a different perspective when I’m speaking to clients on a one-to-one basis; they’ve all been incredibly supportive too.” Caron: “I was working for another dispensing appliance contractor – dealing mostly with ostomy and some continence clients. So the transition hasn’t been too steep and it’s been easy to adapt.” Caron’s our newest new recruit. She joined last December. “It’s been really good. It’s a similar sized company – and in the same field. I do have a lot of new products and product codes to learn though! It really is a great place to work.” ...and Goodbye In April we said au revoir to Kathy from Customer Services who’s embarked on her retirement with a very special Retirement Survival Kit from her friends in Customer Services!
