At the time of writing, it’s already been a much better summer than the last two put together. A dry Wimbledon fortnight – imagine that! Then there was the South African world cup – the England team might not have fared too well, but the weather back here was pretty good! And now, we’re looking forward to a long hot August… Just because the sunny days are here again though, it doesn’t mean we’re slowing down at all. In fact, it looks like it’s going to be a very busy few months here at Countrywide. We’ve got lots to look forward to. You’ll probably start to notice a few changes on our website and in our magazine – more about that below. But don’t worry – Countrywide itself isn’t going to change at all. We’ve taken on a few new members of staff as we continue to grow, but the way we operate seems to work pretty well – at least that’s what you tell us! Just recently we introduced our new online product catalogue. Have you had a look at it yet? We’ll be issuing new online catalogues every few months, complete with all the latest products – we think you’ll find it an even easier way to order your supplies. But that’s just the start. As I said, plans are afoot to re-launch our website too. We’re looking at ways to make it a bigger and better site. Why not let us know if there’s anything you’d really like from the new look? All ideas gratefully received. And talking of gratefully received. We’ve had so many responses to reader Geoffrey N. Read’s enquiry about tissues and torch lights. We’ve printed a selection of them in this issue, but this is just a sample of the responses we had. It just goes to show what we can achieve when we’re mobilised. And it’s a good reminder that you, the readers, are the greatest resource new larys and trachis have got at their disposal. So, any more questions? Keep them coming! As for the months ahead at Countrywide, well, further down the line we’re thinking about introducing an online message forum for everyone to get together online and share your thoughts and ideas. We’ll keep you posted on developments as and when. One more change to tell you about. You’ll be hearing a lot more from me from here on in. I thought it would be a good idea to launch this regular page giving you all my news and views from Countrywide. I think there’s going to be plenty to talk about over the next few months.
