Shining A New Light The pen torch – for so long an invaluable accessory for the lary and trachi – might have finally been supplanted. We’re always on the lookout for new and innovative products to add to our range and we think we’ve found something that you’re going to love. Now, many of you will be very familiar with our classic silver pen torch. It’s neat, it’s slimline and it fits into your pocket, or thanks to the handy fastener, onto a key ring. Bending light However, the very best thing about this torch is its extendable, bendable light fitting. Just uncoil the ridged black tube from the central channel and extend it for a handy go-anywhere, ‘bend it like Beckham’ light source. The tube is extremely flexible – you can twist it into all sorts of shapes. And it can peer into all sorts of hard-to-reach places, making it the most useful torch we’ve found for anyone who has to get a good look at their stoma to ensure it’s nice and clear. But we think we’ve found something even better. Our new design pocket size torch is only half the height of the pen torch (and somewhat wider). It comes with a very sturdy clip-on attachment – so it will grip on to your trousers or pocket – or even onto a book. (Perfect for reading The Voice in bed!) Then, when you’ve finished, just coil the tube back around the inner channel and it’s ready to store away neatly. The tube extends to 17cm (that’s about 7 inches in old money) – so it’s got a good range, and its flexibility makes it (we think) about the easiest torch you’ll ever use. T
