Dowd is the former President of Epsilon Fitness and founder of Advecor advertising agency . Lapcevic is the former Chief Marketing Officer of 24 Hour Fitness and founder of ClubCom digital media networks , Active Media advertising sales agency , and Strive fitness equipment .
Greg and Tom embarked on a relationship 6 years ago that leveraged fitness knowledge , data insights , omnichannel marketing , and advanced technology platforms such as Adobe and Conversant . They transformed a traditional media heavy approach to a digital-first , well-rounded , omnichannel approach that saw incredible results . The performance drove a decrease in overall marketing spend with an increase in joins , engagement , and retention . They set out to bring their database and technology platforms to other fitness industry clients .
