Himself to them through other believers, dreams, and situations. So I pray … One day it hit me a little differently than it had before. Everyone around me is in the same situation. Maybe their country isn’ t fighting against a terrorist group or experiencing lots of war, but they are real people with real life struggles. Their stories are missing the Author. Do I love these people around me just like I fell in love with the children in the Middle East? Am I taking the opportunities I have to share the love of Jesus with these individuals and the Truth that will set them free?

My prayer is that today it will hit you in a different way. Your siblings need love and you are one of the best people to love them. Your parents could use some help in the kitchen or out in the barn, and you have what it takes to serve them. The grouchy neighbors and the quiet kid in your school are looking for the kind of love that Jesus has put in you. Don’ t follow the trends that are set in your society today. Instead of looking at a screen of some kind and sitting on your couch, show some love to the people around you. You have the greatest gift ever given to man, and it’ s wrong for you to keep it to yourself. Today might be the last chance you have with your brother, classmate, or neighbor and you don’ t want to lose the chances you have to share the life of Jesus with them.
