DIY BLEACHED TEE SHIRT
TUTORIAL BY CARRIE YODER
Things you need:
A tee shirt
Bleach
Bucket
Rubber bands
Toothbrush (optional)
1. Prepare the bleach and water mixture. Use somewhere between
50% to 80% bleach, depending on how dark your shirt is and
how much you want it to be bleached.
2. Next, bunch up your shirt, secure it with rubber bands and then
place in the bleach and water solution.
3. After the shirt begins to discolor (it took mine approximately 24
hours), remove from the mixture, take off the rubber bands, and
throw it in the washer.
4. After the shirt is dry, dip an old toothbrush in pure bleach and
speckle the shirt. (This step is optional.)
5. If you feel it necessary, wash and dry your shirt again. And now
you’re done!
