How do you do things in your business?

Take note of what is working well and stop doing what doesn’t benefit your business success.

Take inventory.

Create a process.

Grow your business.

Are you ready? Grab a pen and let’s get to work. Document the following:

How do you market to prospects – online and offline? What has worked on social media and at live networking events? What have you done that hasn’t brought any traction?

How do you treat your prospects and clients? What things have you said that landed a client? Do you know why a prospect decides not to buy into your service? What things make your clients happy? If you don’t know, ASK?

How does the administration for each sale flows? Do you use PayPal? What if a client doesn’t use PayPal? Do you have options?

How does your production system work? When do you work? How do you deliver the work? What online apps do you use?

For each of the questions, write out a very comprehensive description of the step-by-step process. Include what you do and most importantly why you do it – the “why” makes you uniquely you. It is your unique selling proposition – USP. Include the portions that you are proud of – this will be the fuel that keeps you moving forward in your business when there are bumps on your journey toward success. Include the tricks that make your work more efficient – online apps, the time of day when you’re most productive. Include what you tried that didn’t work and explain why – there’s no need to keep doing something that hasn’t worked hoping that one day it does. Each process in your business should become a very rich, highly detailed system. Why so much detail?

Because this is how you consistently deliver results and create business success.
