The Charbonneau Villager

January 2014

On October 19, representatives
from all the homeowners groups
in Charbonneau were invited to
a Disaster Preparedness Workshop. Lieutenant Colonel Rich
Wold - public information officer, Oregon State Dense Force,
Oregon Military Department and
resident of Charbonneau Greens
- presented information to build
and strengthen disaster readiness
among our neighbors. The president of each homeowner's association (HOA) was asked to invite
two or more neighbors and form a
team to begin organizing their areas. We have 14 HOA’s and were
pleased that all of them RSVP’d.
Thirteen sent representatives. We
had 40+ people in attendance.

mapping each neighborhood and
creating contact lists. It was clear

be broken into smaller groups.
