The Charbonneau Villager
Letters to the Editor
To the Editor:
I think most Charbonneau
residents would agree we live in
a community unmatched by any
other. Charbonneau is special
- considering the geographic location, its easy access to the Oregon coast, the mountains and the
desert. We're close to two metropolitan hubs, Portland to the north
and Salem to the south. We have
convenient access to California
and Washington via I-5.

Club which residents can engage
in various activities - events for
men and women, we have a great

in shape, we have a public golf
course for exercise and entertainment, we have tennis and restaurants. I could go on and on.
Most of us have either read or
heard of the classic book Treasure
Island. It seems to me, that Charbonneau with its treasures be classified as a “treasure island,” too.
