Match 1 - WWE Tag Team Championship

The Wyatt's had beaten the champions twice in previous non title encounters, and in many people's eyes they were the favourites to capture gold in this contest. The early stages of the match saw both teams use their strengths to try to gain an advantage. The Champions used a number of high risk individual moves to take the fight to Harper and Rowan, whereas the challenges relied on classic double team move to gain momentum.

It wasn't until the champions were able to play the numbers game that they could gain the advantage. Harper took two stiff looking kicks to the mush from the twins. This left Rowan prone in the ring, who took a double splash which enabled the Usos to retain in a crowd pleasing opener.

This year's Money in the Bank's Pay per view was the most important event of it's kind since CM Punk won the WWE title in 2011. As Daniel Bryan had vacated the WWE world heavyweight championship due to injury, a new champion would be crowned in a eight man ladder match. Bryan's misfortune benefitted the card, as the traditional Money in the Bank contract match took place as well. This meant the PPV got two ladder matches, rather than seeing Bryan defend his title against Kane.

Due to 14 wrestlers taking part in the ladder matches, build up to the other six matches on the card wasn't particularly focused. This however, didn't detract from what was an entertaining night of wrestling.

Match 2 - WWE Divas Championship

Funkadactyl Naomi earned a title match by beating Paige on Raw a couple of weeks previously. However the main focus of the bout was on her relationship with tag partner Cameron, who had been displaying heelish tendencies recently.
